MASSACHUSETTS STATE LOTTERY / CASE STUDY
We love working on fresh concepts, ideas and technologies that break industry standards and generate online traction.
THE CHALLENGE
SF AppWorks and Massachusetts State Lottery collaborated to build multi-platform native apps for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices. These apps would enable users to create an account and view real-time draws happening on remote servers, featuring two different games: "Keno-to-go" and "All-or-Nothing-to-go." Although these games were previously available on web, there was no existing mobile/tablet version for players.
SECURITY FIRST 🔒
While the digital lottery experience needed to be visually exciting, seamlessly functional, and fun to use, it was first and foremost a government agency project. Meaning, on top of a speedy interface for a high-volume user base of varied devices, app activity needed to be powered in a privacy-protected environment.
Supported on iPhone, Android, and Windows operating systems. Cross-platform functionality enabled viewing of synchronized draws happening every 2-3 minutes on remote servers.
A feature for users to search and locate nearby vendors with an interactive an animation-filled UI.
